DAY 1: Arrive Yangon (-/L/D)
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our tour guide. Transfer to hotel. Yangon sightseeing tour includes the old colonial style city center with the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years. Bogyoke (Scotts) Market with hundreds of stores and of a gems shops. The tour continue to Chaukhtatgyi, a huge reclining Buddha image, extended visit to Shwedagon Paogda, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments and the golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold., will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.
DAY 2: Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo by car (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive to Kin Pun “ base camp ” ( 194km- 5hours ). Continue to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leave sand delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun, a steep and rough 11 km dirt road leads to the upper staging point, a journey made in open trucks, which are very crowded. From the “ upper area ”, travelers must at present walk the final stage, approximately 4 km up steep paths, which ascend some 500m to the Golden Rock. As an easier alternative to walking, visitors can be carried in sedan chairs by four porters at an extra cost of approximately US$ 10 p.p. On arrival, Lunch at local restaurant en route or at base camp and watch the beauty of sunset or dawn at this important pilgrimage site. Overnight at the hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.
DAY 3: Kyaikthiyo - Bago - Yangon by car (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit the Golden Rock and the surrounding area. Return to Bago (110 Km - 3 ½ hours). Sightseeing includes the SHWEMAWDAW Pagoda, over a thousand years old, its spire is even taller than SHWEDAGON Pagoda. The 55 meter long reclining SHWE THALYAUNG Buddha image is among the country’s most revered. After that, drive back to Yangon. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.
DAY 4: Yangon - Bagan by flight (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Bagan. On arrival, transfer to hotel and proceed to the busy local market and continuing with visit to a diverse selection of the most important Paogdas and temples, such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century, Kubyanuk Gyi, a temple with exqauisite murals of Jataka scenes, Khay Min Ga Temple and Ananda Temple. Continue sightseeing to Manuha Temple, Nanbaya Temple, Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple. The Archaeological Museum with a collection of bronze, stone and lacquer Buddha images, stone inscription and hair styles in old days, may also be visited. You will also visit a lacquer-ware workshop and the long and arduous process of making bowls and trays that often take months to complete. Proceed to Bupaya Paogda or Mingalazedi Stupa to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight at the hotel in Bagan.
DAY 5: Bagan - Mandalay by flight (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay, transfer to hotel and on the way visit to Mahagandayon Monastery; a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study, continue to 1.2 Km long 200 years old U Bein Bridge, built of huge teak logs salvaged from Ava Royal Palace. A four of traditional workshops includes crafts such as woodcarving, marble masonry, Kalaga tapestry and gold leaf making etc. After that, transfer to hotel for check in. Sightseeing tour in Mandalay including Mahamuni Pagoda, with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, Shwe Inbin, one of the most outstanding monasteries in the country, Shwe Nana Daw Kyaung or Goden Palace Monastery, a superb example of a traditional wooden building, Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the World Biggest Book for its 729 stone slabs of Buddhist Scriptures. DAY 6: Mandalay - Heho by flight (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Heho. Arrive Heho airport, drive to Nyaung Shwe Jetty. And then transfer to hotel by boat and visit to wonder unique leg rowing fishermen, floating firm; built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud which anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles, houses and monasteries on the stilt ect .. . board on a traditional long and tall motorized boat for a sightseeing tour of the lake. Travelling on the lake is an exhilarating experience for nature lovers and a chance to observe the unique traditions of the Intha people. Visit floating village of Ywama, the lake’s downtown, 11 century Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda housing five sacred Buddha Images, the weaving village of Inpawkhon, famous for traditional silk-weaving, Se Gaung Village, famous for the blacksmith work and Nan Pan Village with cheroot making and boat-building dockyares etc end your day with a visit famous Ngaphechaung, a museum like monastery where old belongings of many monasteries are restored. Overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.
DAY 7: Heho - Yangon by flight (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon, transfer to hotel and Yangon city sightseeing short visit to Botataung Pagoda, Nan Thida Jetty, Kandawgyi Garden and Karaweik Palace. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.
DAY 8: Departure (B/-/-)
Time at leisure to purse individual interests until your transfer to the airport. Your guide will pick you up the hotel and accompany you to the airport. Departure from Yangon.
