Day 1: Arrive Vientiane
Upon arrival at the international airport we will be welcome and transfer to our centrally located hotel in Vientiane. In the afternoon we will take a city sightseeing tour to explore some of the more interesting places like the Victory Gate, Wat Sisaket and the impressive That Luang stupa – one of the most important places of Buddhist pilgrimage.

Day 1: Arrival - Luang Prabang (D)
On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After a short rest, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham and Wat Mai. We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the hilltribe and local people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Laos is a charming little country in Southeast Asia. It is situated on the geo-strategic axis of the Lower Mekong River, with a surface area of 236,800 square kilometers. Much of the country is covered by mountains and rivers, which gives its stunning natural landscapes. Theravada Buddhist is the major religion in this country. With just over five million inhabitants, Laos is one of the least populated countries in the region.

Agriculture is the main occupation of the people. They rely on the rich fertile soil along the 1,865 kilometers segment of the Mekong River that flows through Laos. The Mekong is therefore the country’s main thoroughfare.

Day 1: Vientiane Arrival (L)
Arrive in Vientiane. Meet your guide at the airport, transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon, city tour. Visit That Luang Stupa, Pratuxai, Ho Prakeo, Wat Sisaket. Watch the sunset on the banks of Mekong River. Overnight at hotel.
