Terms and Conditions
Booking requirements: Sample fares above are quoted for one adult and based on roundtrip booking for economy/coach class travel on American Airlines. Tickets must be booked at least 7 days in advance of travel and no later than 11:59pm PT on April 14, 2010.
Travel dates: Fares are valid for outbound travel April 13-June 5, 2010; except for Chile, where outbound travel is valid April 13-May 31, 2010. All travel must be complete by June 7, 2010. Quoted fares are valid for travel on Monday-Thursday only; fares for travel on other days of the week may be higher.
Minimum/maximum stay: For travel between the U.S. and Chile a 7-day minimum stay is required; a 2-day minimum stay may be required for all other destinations. A 30-day or 1-year maximum stay may be permitted.
Additional taxes/fees: Fares are subject to additional charges, including, without limitation: the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement at a U.S. airport up to a maximum of two enplanements per one-way trip; Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18, depending on itinerary; and Federal Segment Fees of $3.70 per segment. A segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Fares to/from Alaska or Hawaii do not include Travel Facilities Tax of up to $8.10 each way. Fares to/from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands do not include U.S. Departure Tax of $16.10 each way. Fares for international travel do not include up to $200 in government-imposed fees per roundtrip, a portion of which may be collected by the foreign government, depending on routing and destination.
Other conditions: Fares are quoted in U.S. dollars. Fares and rules are subject to change without notice. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates. Lower fares may be available to selected destinations. Fares do not include checked baggage fees that may be charged by the applicable airline. Tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
